Position Summary

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT DUNCAN MEDICAL ON 1ST SHIFT.

Responsible for shipping, interco invoicing and receiving operations for the Medical Warehouse. This includes assuring compliance with all Import/Export requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Duncan Medical and customer service from ordering countries, providing information on order status and shipping schedules
• Maintain excellent communication with freight forwarders, monitoring progress of shipments and communicating any delays or issues
• Complete customer worksheet for tracking detailed shipping information by customer order, including providing COCQ documents
• Effectively manage airfreight, obtaining all airfreight quotes and approvals for both IMEX and Air Freight Approval situations.
• Participate in GMP training annually for operators and others for any Shipping/Receiving related issues or changes
• Safety meetings and Safety Based Audits
• Forklift license required
• PFS guidelines followed
• Dead storage maintenance and tracking

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Continued)

• General receiving, including production and packaging supplies, maintenance items, office supplies, along with items purchased through COUPA, Procard, RS Integration and SAP.
• Receiving of all incoming resins. GMP procedures must be followed, including completing verification forms for resin receipts, collecting raw material samples for all resin and creating labels for each box.
• Coordinate with buyer, resin and packaging supplies to the production line for daily use.
• Loading and unloading materials as a backup via forklift
• Shipping all requested materials, including samples and special requests.
• Receiving and shipping packages via UPS, DHL, FEDEX
• Coordinate customer shipments in the US as well as export orders. This includes booking shipments via SEE freight forwarder, creating pull sheets for order preparation, labels, special instructions and SAP shipping related documents. All C-TPAT forms and procedures must be completed.
• Interco invoicing
  Interaction Required With:
• Internal: Duncan operations and plant staff, medical customer service representatives, R&D, sales and other medical functional areas as needed.
