Job Description The Strategy & Planning Leadership Program (SPLP) is a 36-month rotational experience consisting of four assignments designed to build a strategy skill set, preparing participants for their first off-program assignment in the Strategy & Planning Organization. You'll leverage expertise in both engineering and business, providing opportunities to expand competencies in both functional areas from day one. You'll work with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, finance, technology, design, and manufacturing specialists to deliver critical projects that improve profitability.
Responsibilities - Develop and apply innovative global product strategies to maximize profitability.
- Create technology strategies to deliver the best interactive experiences.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute program direction and deliver critical projects.
- Engage in various potential assignment areas, such as Product Strategy, Technology Strategy, Sustainability, Mobility Strategy, Cycle Planning and Business Operations, and Global Product Planning.
- Present work to senior Ford management/leadership.
- Receive career guidance from a management mentor and network with industry professionals.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: - Must be a graduate student enrolled in a full-time MBA program, with eligibility to work full-time before October 2025.
- A minimum of 2 years of business or engineering experience.
- Ability to think critically and navigate ambiguity; must display intellectual curiosity.
- Passionate about mobility product strategy.
Preferred Attributes: - 3 or more years of experience in business, strategy, marketing, engineering, product design, finance, economics, data analytics, or related fields.
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities, employment, and/or internship experiences.
- Excels in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
