What You'll Do...

  • Develop Pricing Strategies: You will craft and modify comprehensive retail pricing strategies based on volume, product lines, competition, and category penetration for assigned categories. This encompasses determining known value items, benchmarking comparable items sold by competition, and utilizing Walmart pricing systems to maximize profit margin.
  • Analyze Performance: You will manage the analysis of performance of the current pricing strategy for low complexity categories with management guidance. This includes reviewing information on sales, profits, margins, in-stock, mark-up, and mark-down.
  • Benchmark Competitors: You will oversee the benchmarking of competitor margins against company margins to ensure fair supplier pricing. This involves evaluating trade fund allocation and cost components, obtaining cost increase justifications, and conducting market track analysis.
  • Communicate Pricing Strategies: You will oversee the communication of pricing information and strategies for high complexity categories. This includes presenting information to the category team or category team leadership, serving as a spokesperson on Walmart's competitive price gap and strategy performance.
  • Execute Promotional Pricing Strategies: You will oversee the execution of promotional pricing strategies for assigned strategic business units. This involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to create promotional strategies and events, validating item information and advertised pricing, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Develop Pricing Personnel: You will provide training on pricing strategy processes and tools, review and provide feedback on pricing strategies, and assist in the preparation of analytics.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...
