Safety Manager

Position Overview
The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing the safety protocols and practices in construction, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role aims to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a safety-first culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Provide training and resources to staff on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety procedures into project planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management review.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure necessary safety certifications are obtained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role within the construction or industrial sectors.
• Proven knowledge of safety regulations and standards relevant to construction, industrial, and commercial environments.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) preferred.
