Job Description

Private Great Neck, NY couple seeks an experienced Full-Time Live-In Executive Housekeeper to maintain their property. The family is seeking a long-term commitment. Must be comfortable with small friendly dogs.

Salary

• Base Salary: $90-110K+ (Flexible DOE)
• Possibility of Health insurance after 90-days
• Discretionary bonus

Schedule
Work 5 days a week, 40 hours/week. Off days are Tuesday and Wednesday or Sunday and Monday. Must be flexible with the schedule.
Job Responsibilities:

• Detailed cleaning (includes, but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, and laundering, ironing/steaming and polishing silver)
• Oversee other staff
• Assisting with organisational projects and keeping inventory and proper care of linens, china, crystal, silverware, antiques, furniture, artwork, collectibles, electronics, appliances, etc
• Laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, dry cleaning, packing and unpacking, storing seasonal clothing
• Answering the telephone, door and gate as well as receiving guests
• Collecting mail and accepting deliveries
• Coordinate all entertaining and guest needs; greet and assist guests
• Responsible for shopping and stocking the kitchen and home with necessary provisions
• Setting and clearing of tables and cooking and serving meals
• Basic handyman skills

• Assist the Chef in the kitchen when needed

Requirements:

• Full Executive Housekeeping
• Speak excellent English.
• Knowledge of how to clean and care for antiques, art, fine rugs and draperies.
• Demonstrated history of building long-term and trusted relationships with references available.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion surrounding sensitive information.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Highly professional, self-motivated and organized.
• Adept at receiving and carrying out directions.
• Positive attitude, loyal and honest.
• All who apply must have a clean background check and legal status to work in the U.S. Must have past work experience in the domestic industry with at least 3 verifiable references.
