Cannabis Trimmer Location Los Angeles, CA (Downtown area) :

WE ARE TRAIDITONAL: A progressive company with offices in downtown Los Angeles, California that has extensive experience in all areas of the legal cannabis industry. We have developed world-class facilities and vertically integrated businesses for the production, manufacturing, distribution, and sale of cannabis.

: Cannabis Trimmers are responsible for manicuring, measuring, and unitizing cannabis flowers. Trimmers are vanguards of quality for our finished cannabis products and must be meticulous, careful, thorough, and take pride in completing projects while following all safety, quality, and compliance protocols.

General Duties (Not Exhaustive of all Duties)

  • Careful handling of cannabis flowers to minimize loss and waste.
  • Trim and manicure flowers to remove sugar leaves and excess stems.
  • Inspect flowers for quality.
  • Weigh and record trimmed cannabis flowers and waste to account for all material.
  • Package trimmed flowers in bags or unitized containers according to established protocol.
  • Report all quality issues to management.
  • Follow all safety and compliance standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency during a highly repetitive task.
  • Meet daily trimming and packaging goals set out by the Cultivation Manager.

Daily Tasks: (Not Exhaustive of all Tasks)

  • Prepare trimming area and equipment to eliminate contaminants.
  • Weigh and record untrimmed cannabis product quantities.
  • Inspect, trim, and manicure, and count cannabis flowers.
  • Label and package finished cannabis flowers.
  • Collect, weigh and record trim and waste.
  • Adjust trimming techniques to maintain a steady trimming pace for various cultivars
  • Meet trimming weight requirements.
  • Follow all packaging procedures.
  • Calculate basic measures and weights
  • Report and account for all cannabis finished products and waste.
  • Clean and disinfect work area and tools.

Collaboration:

  • Keep the trimming/packaging area tidy to maintain a functional work environment.
  • Work with team members to develop, learn, and implement new systems and techniques.
  • Foster an upbeat work environment while performing repetitive task work.
  • Maintain a positive attitude.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and pass a criminal background check.
  • Previous cannabis experience is a plus but not a requirement.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

  • Current, valid driver's license or reliable transportation

Compensation:

Your compensation shall be the greater of:· The wage based on your production of trimmed cannabis flower at the rate of $70.00 per pound of trimmed cannabis flower accepted by Company; or · $16.78 per hour.
